After going to the same local dentist for six years until they retired, my husband and I just had our first visit here for a routine exam and cleaning. The receptionist, X-Ray nurse, hygienist and dentist were all super friendly and very professional. The place and equipment looks nice and clean. We felt we were in very good hands.
I was a client at North Shore Dental for over a year. The hygienist and dentist were very professional, efficient, welcoming and kind, and I highly recommend them. My less-than-positive review comes from the multiple racial slights I've received from the receptionist (Pat). I hope she'll get some training in cultural competency. Every time I read my full name out to her over the phone, she'd let out a loud exasperated sigh while she struggles to enter it into the office database. Great dentist office. The whole staff was great. The whole experience was easy, polished, and professional.
The vogue in dentistry today seems to be to treat your patients as customers, attracting them with upscale decor, spamming their email with services they don't need, and relentlessly advertising to them while there. After suffering several of these expensive "dental spas," I wanted a practice whose dentists acted like actual medical practitioners, not salespersons. I found it here. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Gordon at North Shore Dental for over 10 years. Dr. Bill is straightforward and always gives honest recommendations—there’s never any upselling or unnecessary treatments, like some other cooperate dental offices in the area I've heard about. Dr Bill and his main assistant (Lissette) are also great at putting you at ease, which makes a trip to the dentist a lot less stressful.
