Dr Tu and his surgical team were great and extremely attentive to my comfort. The only take away was the brief stay in phase 1 recovery that I was not prepared for. I was far more alert after anesthesia than I think they expected and horrified by the lack of dignity they afforded me. There was no preparation as to what it would be like so I was shocked by the experience. Phase 2 nurses were much better and compassionate.
