I used North Saanich Pluming. Cane did a great job but I was surprised to discover that they charge in 30 min increments. So a 1hr 15 min job was billed at 1hr 30 min. Too much IMHO. Other than that A-okay.
North Saanich did a good multiple hot water tank replacement at my condo bldg, so I called them re a noisy toilet. They charged me $543 to replace a flapper & valve. The exact part is listed online for $65 - I was charged $136. I was also charged double travel time coming and going, because they didn't have the right part in the truck on the first visit. I was even charged for their time to go online and order the part. I questioned the cost but without success.
I have used North Saanich personally since I moved to Sidney and loved their service. Not too long ago they came to the rescue of our Strata Complex as we had a main water break outside our building. I called in a panic and they came immediately and took card of the gushing water and made sure we had water for the evening. Sounds easy doesn't it. We've been using North Saanich Plumbing for years and they are always so responsive, courteous and do a great job, when they say they're going to. This weekend was no different. They went out of their way on Good Friday to replace a gas hot water tank for us. They sourced a replacement tank and were there within two hours of me contacting Aaron. Incredible service!!!
