Looks like I lucked out with my purchase. Given the glowing reviews I was expecting a better experience. Bought a Corolla for my daughter. He gave me a pink slip as it was due for rego in a month. He put the wrong odometer reading 299k instead of 229k. So when I went to transfer the ownership and then do the rego it looks like I wound the clock back after buying it from him.
