I was with north risk (used to be CO brown) for 15 years. My background: I am a young adult and was not that knowledgeable or savvy about insurance. I think north risk can do so much better to service their clients. I recently learned they do not partner with ALL of the insurance companies, which I did not know. We have worked with Joe Knoepke and his team at the Rochester Branch for 3 years now. They are precise, current and thorough wether that be audit reviews, communicating deadlines or reviewing policy changes as they come. They don’t hesitate to add an additional insured or get you a cert of insurance and do it in a timely manner. Called them for a quote and was told that I should just get a quote from progressive instead.
I started with this company 35 years ago when it was a good company, CO Brown. Now an absolutly horrible company. When we have had claims in recent years....recieved no help from our agent. So glad we switched!!!!!!
We've had a great experience with North Risk, mainly on the commercial/business side. I want to give a huge thank you to Paul Apenhorst, he was able to find the perfect policy/provider that balanced everything we needed for insuring the company. If you ever need something, they do answer the phone, and if the miss your call, they get back to you very fast. I'm able to basically get coverage added the same day, which is crucial for a growing business. Thanks Paul!!
