I strongly believe this office needs to reconsider its front-desk customer service. I have spoken with the same receptionist twice, and both experiences were incredibly cold and unprofessional. For a medical office, the receptionist is often the first point of contact for a patient, and that interaction matters. Despite seeing other reviews mentioning similar concerns, I still asked my doctor to send a referral here because I had heard positive things from local moms about Dr. Patel. Very disappointing first experience with this practice. I had been waiting since April for my appointment, and unfortunately, a family emergency came up that caused me to miss it. I did not intentionally no-show, and I had absolutely no desire to waste an appointment that I had waited months to get. I completely understand that missed appointments cost a practice money and that another patient could have potentially used that time. I also understand having a no-show policy.
