1770 el cerrito place. INADEQUATE SOUND Insulation to the Max.! You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls into other people's apartments: Cooking, cleaning, walking, talking arguments, sex. No Privacy for you or your neighbor. It's Horrible! The apartments are renting at $2800-3200 and this is what you get!
I have lived in one of their apartment complexes in Hollywood for over a year now. The app that they use to communicate is easy to use, and if I have any troubles with my apartment, I can expect a quick response from them to be able to fix whatever problem I am facing. As a resident, I feel cared for and respected and am grateful for their understanding when I have faced some financial problems and needed time to become more stable.
Worst management I’ve ever dealt with. We found black mold in our 4k a month unit a serious health issue and our manager has been ignoring us for over a week. No updates, no urgency, just silence. I called North Oak directly hoping to get help, and the woman on the phone was one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to. Zero concern, and kept hanging up. Absolutely no accountability, no support, and no professionalism. If you care about your health or peace of mind, stay far away from this company.
Have been renting from North Oak for almost a year and extremely happy with my experience. Nick over at Serendipity addresses concerns, maintenance orders, and building standards very efficiently. He’s been extremely responsive, understanding, and helpful. Would highly recommend North Oak!
Lazy property management company. They cancel confirmed appointments scheduled a week ahead of time! Very inconvenient. Do not recommend them. Will look elsewhere
