I planned to move in back on May 3rd, 2022. The apartment unit that was shown to me was very pretty and recently remodel. When I made my payment and got my keys and I enter the actual unit I was assigned it was NOTHING compared to what I was shown in the tour. Horrible customer service! This company doesn't have any integrity or respect for their tenants. They leave appliances broken for months and the property manager doesn't like to take accountability for any! The property manager can't keep any employees longer than 2 weeks because of her negligence to do things correctly.
Terrible management, they don't answer the phones and the voicemail is filled. Work orders are ignored and sometimes falsely stated they were completed. In one year we gone through SIX property managers and rental managers (Barb, Jocelyn, Dustin, Patty, Michelle, and the new one who started 7/8/22). The two year old carpets has never been shampooed and rarely vacuumed. The white baseboard are grey from dirty mop water. Dirty walls with chipped paint in the common areas. They constantly charge me rental insurance even though I have already proven to them three times that I have my own. This adds an additional $67.00 to my rent. This place is run by absentee landlords or something. I keep sending them proof each month and I receive no answer. They started to replace the cabinets in February. It's nearly July now and they still haven't finished. I don't think they pay their cabinet installers because it's a different person every time and they never finish the job.
5 months since my mom moved out of her Jefferson Westtown apartment she is still waiting on her security deposit refund. Multiple calls to the rental office; multiple messages left and NO returned calls. Calls to corporate in CA end up in a voicemail, saying to email to tenantrelations(at)jrk.com. No one has emailed/texted/called back. Next step is small claims court.
I would not suggest to anyone not even my enemy to live here. They claim they are luxury apartments and that is a joke lol. If you want to move into a place who is intimidating, rude, not friendly and don't do anything about your apartment with leaks then this is the place for you. Also after you been living here for 8 months and your rent is never late and they want to increase your rent by $200+. There is not nothing good I can say about this place it's very sad. This company is absolutely the worst of the worst. I won't even be able to scratch the surface in a review. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM!!! They scam you, customer service is in the toilet, maintenance takes 3+ months and you can forget any emergency maintenance no matter how urgent including flooding, no AC in the dead of summer, etc. I've been at Arwen Vista for 2 years and the pool just opened two weeks before the end of my lease for the very first time. I spent 375 for a denial given that we have a criminal background. My spouse nor myself have criminal backgrounds. No one has tried to help except to say. We don't make the decisions! Ok that's fine what is the appeal process? LEASING AGENT does not know. Anytime there is a decision made a consumer has the right to appeal. Horrible experience
I been contacting the Bedford residence in Stamford ct for over 90 days I have not received my deposit back due to my application being denied. Also one of the property managers being extremely rude and hanging up on the call, this is unexceptable I have sent emails and still no response, I asked if the accountant will be reaching out regarding this matter and still no response , I'm extremely livid and disappointed on how this has been handled .
