The single star is for the admin staff who have always been kind and helpful. I was only a patient with them for several months and have a lot of problems with the way North Memorial treats (or rather, don't bother to treat) their patients, but this review is specifically about their predatory pricing and billing. I’m really disappointed that North Memorial is closing their outpatient program. My care team has literally helped save my life! Mental health IS healthcare, and there are about to be a lot of people stranded without the care they need to live.

Extremely bad. My appointment was cancelled 20 minutes prior to service. Told when I got there my practitioner does not take Medicare patients. They also refused a credit card or cash. I could be seen by a male practitioner no other female available. No rescheduling done. Not a well run clinic I will go outside this clinic. Contacted NM financial office unaware of this practice. Left a message for my referring physician.

Edit: Dr. Hanson took me off an antipsychotic medication prescribed by an inpatient psychiatric team, told me to discontinue taking it immediately, and when I called back to address side effects and concerns with the new medication, they refused to make any changes without paying for an appointment. Rude front desk staff, as everyone has said. Scrutinize your bill, as they also overcharge, as everyone has said. They also overprescribe, as everyone has said.
