It had some hits and some misses, but overall it was the best and most exciting dining experience on the North Fork. Some dishes were superb and alone would have me coming back. But true stars of the eve were the desserts. Chocolate caramel tart is arguably the best chocolate tart I have ever tasted. Every bite was sublime and transported me to Florence on a hot summer day. I would buy a house in southold if they opened a pastry shop on the side.
After learning about the restaurant from a colleague & reading a New York Times article on North Fork Table and Inn, my husband decided to road trip out to LI from Manhattan for dinner. Very innovative & refreshing style of cuisine. Marvelous combinations & usage of the freshest ingredients. Beautiful & delightful desserts from Pastry Chef Claudia Fleming. Kudos to Chef Stephan & his culinary team.
Amazing brunch, wonderful atmosphere! And dessert was out of this world!
We had the 6-course meal. It all went like clockwork from the delivery of the timing to the order of the dishes. I savored every bite of the truffle risotto, the fois gras and the coconut, passion fruit sorbet over the coconut milk, basil and passion fruit caramel tapioca. Five stars!
We were there for restaurant week. Restaurant week can be chancy. It was delicious and the service spectacular
