My mom came... And the staff couldn't figure ito how to put the air cast on her 😑😑 we had to figure it out ourselves.
Do not go there. The nurses are rude and the doctor does not show up unless you have a heart attack! It is the WORST hospital in Florida!
My father in law was taken here via ambulance after a stroke at home. He was not diagnosed or treated properly. The so-called "leading stroke center" in Gainesville did not treat him for a stroke, instead placed him in the cardiac ward, he now has shown significant brain matter loss, is not the same man at all, and can barely take care of himself. Thanks to these incompetent doctors, a vibrant man is now basically broken. Save your family and go to Shands.
