I've seen Dr. Acholonu since I was 15 years old and when he retired, I started at Women's Care. Over the last 2 years, I've not had any negative or concerning experiences and everyone's been pleasant and professional.

I don't generally give "bad" reviews, as somethings just aren't for me. In this case, a Dr. refused me medical care that could have significantly helped me and I will NEVER forget her lack of accountability. She let me suffer because she "had not heard" the latest updates on a medication. One of my other specialists questions was"HOW! IT WAS NATIONAL NEWS!" So I had to suffer horrible symptoms for months until I got into another provider that immediately helped me. SHAME ON YOU.

If you care about your physical and mental health please do not go here. I went through a "missed" miscarriage in December. Each interaction with the scheduling/front office staff was so cold and not welcoming (and long waits even with an appointment) When I told them why I was coming in they did not show any compassion but just continued to ask the basic questions to schedule me over the phone. I had to call over and over and argue with a nurse in order to be seen sooner. They wanted me to wait for over a week after my misc... read more

TW: miscarriage. . . I went here for a pregnancy in November of 2023 that I ultimately lost. I had a fall and the Dr (who is no longer there thank god) brushed it off, I was fine, what I was feeling could be normal... I ended up miscarrying and when we were able to conceive my rainbow baby, I came back with a strong opinion to never see her and expressed why. Ultimately I ended up switching to women's care clay because I hate the hospital they deliver at and Baptist clay is a million times better than st Vincent south side.

This is a very busy doctor's office, but every visit for the most part has been positive. Breanna has always been very professional and explained everything to me in detail, she's awesome and ALWAYS on point!!!! I had to see the doctor for a few other things and she was on point as well, she referred me to a specialist who could help me and get my medical issues resolved, thank God!!! Thank you so very much to, Dr. Lahey for referring me to, Dr. Martino he is an absolutely amazing specialist!!
