Waste of time and money. Our teenager saw Max for about a year and regressed in almost every aspect of his life. Max did not do any of things he said he was going to do when my wife and I first met with him. He claimed that not every therapist is a match with a patient and that if things weren’t working he’d know early on and terminate the sessions. North Family Counseling is an excellent place to seek therapy - we have known them for several years and refer clients to them often. We trust everyone on the team to help clients find lasting change.
Max is very professional but also friendly and relatable. This makes him easy to open up to. I have to say, I was very skeptical of a specific technique he uses in trauma therapy, and have been trying to prove the technique to be wrong for the last couple of days, but I can't.
