North End Pizzeria is family restaurant owned and operated by the Scarola Family. Traces their heritage back to Sanicandro di bari, Italy. North End Pizzeria as a tribute to their beginnings as a couple and hopes of showing customers that good pizza can be made on the west coast. I think the pizza is great and the salads are really good. the prices are good and it does taste like north end of boston pizza.
Ordered a pizza from North End Pizzeria using the July coupon from their website. The extra-large pizza was $21.95 with sausage and mushrooms The pizza was large enough to serve 5 adults.. All in all the pizza was quite delicious. I particularly liked the crust. It was perfect! The service here was fast and efficient. I called on the phone and came to pick up the pizza in 20 minutes. Everything went smoothly and I really liked the family atmosphere of the place.
Let's bust out the 5 star baby! First, I like this place because Dom introduced himself from the first visit and took care of us. Knowing that I'm a New Yorker, he really goes out of his way to take care of us. I like pizza folks and if you see me, you'll understand. I would recommend the pepperoni pizza. I don't usually like slices because they sit and have a tendency to taste different when re-heat them. North End had a good combo of crust, sauce and cheese. It has a bit of grease but you have to take the bad with the good... read more
ive ordered to go and dined in at the place a couple of times gotta say, every time was damn good Personally, everyone has their own idea of what a perfect pizza is, thin and greasy, sounds like a Boston pie to me (im one of the only people in CA whos not a health nut so i could care less) but Lasagna is a real test and they passed with flying colors, it was a bit too hot, but i didnt mind, because it tasted fantastic also the Antipasto, the balance between the dressing, the toppings, and the lettuce, was amazing it may have... read more
Best Pizza this side of the coast! Good sauce makes a pizza and pasta dish, and they got it right...tastes the closest to East Coast pizza placed I gave come across yet! Only issue is the high prices, but it was tasty! Not exactly like NY pizza, but will satisfy the pizza cravings.
I want to rate this pizzeria a 4.5. The pizza we ordered was quite delicious. We ordered a large pizza with 6 toppings. Apparently, everything is made from scratch which is very nice. The gentleman at the counter was courteous to us especially when my friends with kids were there. There is a little outdoor section to sit outside in the nice LA weather today. This pizzeria is very close to a parking structure off of Orange Grove (the street where this pizzeria is located). We also ordered a Caesars salad which was also delici... read more
I love thin crust pizza! Unknowingly stumbled into North End Pizzeria after a lovely stroll down San Fernando Blvd. Being new to Los Angeles, I was very impressed with the local feel of this restaurant. It felt very family and I was happy to be the only patrons in the restaurant. We ordered the Pizza Margharita and a House Salad. Both entrees were perfect for two hungry people. The sauce, tomatoes, cheese, and garlic was beautifully balanced with the thin crust. After eating my share of pizza in college, North End's pizza ca... read more
This place gets 5 Stars even though, I'm a Yankees fan. :) The pizza is amazing. Rumor has it he imports water from Boston to make the pizza authentic. Don't know if it's true but it certainly is the best pizza in Burbank. Go in, say hi to Dominic get the garlic knots and a pepperoni pie.
Omg finally a pizza that my mother in law from New York loves. But to fully appreciate these exquisite pies you must commit to eat at the quaint little spot, cause this delectable crust loses its amazingly perfect crisp when it takes too much time from the oven to mouth. Although I generally refer a thin crust pizza, this place offers an awesome thick crust pie that will blow your mind !! Love to find authentic and for now this little spot in Burbank rocks it!!
