My dog was diagnosed with Diabetes on April 1 at North Dallas Veterinary hospital. Even after repeatedly increasing his dosage by 1 unit at a time he didn’t show any signs of improvement. See Blood Glucose curves below, which show that the treatment had no effect with BG levels staying in the mid to upper 500s. I repeatedly informed the doctor that my dog seemed to be getting worse in terms of increased thirst, increased urination, and lethargy. On May 6th my dog went completely blind due to diabetic cataracts, that develope... read more

Always professional and efficient. I am especially encouraged by the distancing protocol being used currently in light of coronavirus concerns. I appreciate the office doing everything possible to keep us and our pets safe and healthy.

We have been clients of Dr. Ford and NDV for about 25 years. Although we live Northwest of Fort Worth we STILL drive to see Dr. Ford. People have often asked “Why do you drive so far for a veterinarian”? Recently our six month old puppy Charlie fell and fractured her femur and needed FHO surgery. THIS is why we drive to Dallas for our vet. Dr. Ford operated on her leg and when Charlie left the hospital she received the “red carpet” treatment. His staff lined Charlie’s exit path with rugs so she could WALK out on her own. It ... read more

Dr. Jennifer Lukowski is amazing. Our dog - Ricardo was diagnosed with a liver tumor and she has been so gracious throughout this entire experience. We are "farm animal" people - doing the minimal. She has met us, being reasonable with what to do and how to do it. Thank you for always being professional and personal. We appreciate you. Thank you.

The veterinarians and staff at NDVH are the finest I have experienced in Texas or Canada. Drs Hudson and Washatka have taken care of our four dogs for over 8 years. They have become part of our bigger family. We recently lost one of our dogs suddenly and their compassion and sadness was palpable. I know there are many vets in Dallas and area. I have worked with a couple of rescue groups and have experienced many. These are the people who you want to trust your family members health with. From the amazing front staff to the t... read more

Dr. Nichols takes the time to sit and talk -- explaining all the possible issues and medications, and giving the opportunity for me to ask questions.
