My partner and I are an interracial couple. We stayed in cabin 6 for 8 days with our kid and 2 dogs. We paid the "pet fee". Bought whole new bedding as to not use the ones provided (nothing is disinfected in these cottages, and apparently is primarily the guests responsibility to prepare the cabin for the next guests, as mistaken for "vintage" or "rustic" by other guests but it's really you breathing in the previous guest skin cells and bacteria.
