I was a client of North County for many years when Pat owned the company. New owners took over and came out for a service call. The tech informs me that the service was going to be more expensive than last time which was fine however this time the service would have extra charges for a mini split raising my service from 300 to 560! terrible experience with the new ownership of North County Cooling (now owned by Comfort Zone) ... charged me a total of $625 to replace a condenser fan motor (labor only since part was still under warranty) ... the repairman (professional and courteous) was here for no more than 1 1/2 hours total for the two visits (initial call and return with the new part) By the way, this was the second time this part has failed on this unit that was purchased at NCC (1st failure was 10/2/2024 and the bill was $375 from NCC with the prev... read more

I started using North County cooling back in 2021. At that time Pat the owner came out measured and prepared a proposal for me for a new AC unit. Once installed, NCC continued to service my unit. I understand the company has been taken over and Pat is semi retired, but they continue to do great work. This past Monday Jason came out. I just had a new AC system installed by Anthony and Mike and was more than pleased with their knowledge, skill and the job they did. I have been using North County for many years and know I can trust them to always do excellent work!

I rely on North County Cooling no matter what the issue is. They babied my old a/c system until it bit the dust, then installed a new one. I had what I thought was a minor issue this week and I am so appreciative that Matt was the technician who arrived. He diagnosed a more complicated problem with my electrical wiring in the wall. I highly recommend North County Cooling!
