Was looking for something to do while I was down in San Diego yesterday. Came across this little theater and so glad I did. Enjoyed their wonderful production of The Spitfire Grill. If it hadn't been the final show yesterday, I'd tell everyone to go see it, but I'm sure their upcoming shows will be just as good.
The Spitfire Grill was an absolutely wonderful musical production! I saw it 2 times and thoroughly enjoyed it both times! The story and acting was excellent! I love musicals and the voices were perfect!
Have seen many wonderful Plays. Have enjoyed and have taken visitors as well. Always great feedback from family and friends!!
Saw the Spitfire Grill last night. Excellent all around - terrific story, cast, and music. Seating at the theatre is great - we had excellent seats, but honestly there isn't a bad seat in the house! Highly recommend!
Last night I had the pleasure of seeing a wonderful show at North Coast Rep. My dear friend Devlin is in the cast and what a cast it is! They all sing so beautifully, embody the characters so well, and have fun. It really was a gem of a performance. Congratulations to the cast, crew, talented musicians, and the staff. Go see The Spitfire Grill!! You'll be glad you did.
It took me a few minutes to understand the actors were playing the same but several characters interchangeably. Once I had that the play was very well done and quite engaging and enjoyable.
The illusion was brilliant with a most wonderful cast; a magical night at the theater.
Intimate venue, fantastic performance, helpful docents / ushers, be aware bathrooms are up two sets of stairs and only 2 stalls for ladies.
Laughter on the 23rd Floor was a brilliant production. The performances were individually hilarious. More beautiful was the way the ensemble worked together to make magic...just as the writers in the writing room about whom the play is written. Brilliant acting, direction and a hearty nose-thumb at the too-relevant topic of censorship! I'll raise my quill to that! Hear, hear!
