I used to rate a massage on a “Carl massage” scale in reference to a masseuse back east who would leave me in a delirium after his work. Betsy has exceeded that rating exponentially where I now must rate my massages as a “Betsy” massage. Betsy does not give a generic massage. She is a true body worker who finds your aches and releases those areas and takes you to an altered state of consciousness! I tweaked my back while biking down the Oregon coast so I googled massage and picked a therapist who sounded like more deep tissue and less pan flute. Woah! Total success! E was surprisingly skilled at diagnosis and getting the angry muscles to chill. She seems very knowledgeable about the connections between different muscle groups and uses a lot of indirect approaches that worked really well. A little pricy, but very worth it. I wish I lived here so I could see her again!
