Beware if contacted by this company if you have medicare, they are NOT ETHICAL. I was contacted by a mental health company "AbleTo.com" on 17Oct25. Conner told me that I was eligible for 8 weeks of therapy at no cost because I had UHC/medicare. The therapist, Ann Bessner LCMHC, was nice and seemed to really listen. Out of all the mental health practitioners I’ve worked with, this is the only place that has actually shown some initiative to help their customers. Other places can barely schedule an appointment, or they focus on getting paid, or meeting some minimum number of appointments. This place actually helped me. They did their job, and that’s a rare thing in this field!
I saw two therapists here, each for around 6 months. I didn't think either of them were effective for me. I never felt like they were helping me address the root of my issues. I went into therapy because I hadn't felt like myself in over a year, and was finding it increasingly hard to stay present and focus. Was making progress with a therapist here; now she's left the practice and NCCR can't even give me a new therapist. This place has gone very downhill. Thanks for nothing, NCCR.
