We had a great experience renting a boat from Kevin while we were on vacation in Southport. Kevin was very informative and showed my husband some great spots to go to. We would definitely use them again!
Just took the basic power boating class, and Kevin and his dad did a great job teaching this novice the basics. Best part was being able to send so much time actually operating a boat. Thanks guys!
Kevin and his wife were enjoyable to work with. They are upfront and honest. Made for a great fishing trip. Loved the boat. Seems like they have the corner of the market for Bald Head Island rentals, but they don't take advantage of that with their prices.

I grew up in a boating family but as the youngest child was always the passenger. This course was just what I needed to gain some confidence to actually maneuver a boat. The safety portion of the course should be required for anyone operating a boat. Captain Kevin was awesome!
Myself and some fellow coworkers took the power boating class last week with Captain Kevin Hennessey. I've had some previous boating experience before but still wasn't completing comfortable being at the helm. This class made me feel so much more relaxed. Kevin is an amazing instructor.
