I love the shrimp and grits The best I ever had.
Our dinner was very good. However, we had a terribly long wait for our food after we were seated. One of us ordered raw oysters. He got the horseradish & cocktail sauce & waited about :15 for the oysters after that. Then we waited about an hour for our food. We sat outside & I think we were forgotten. We were there about 3 hours! We did enjoy the food though & would go back.

I had the seafood broil & it was delish! The scallops were perfectly seared. But the best dish by far was the shrimp 🍤 & grits!! Definitely recommend it!
We started with the grilled octopus, which was as salty as bacon and rubbery so no flavor of octopus survived, and then had the grilled seafood platter, the cod and shrimp were dry, rubbery, and over cooked with no flavor but the scallops were ok. I asked for extra butter to help it a little. I should have sent it back but we waited so long for the table I was starving. The sides were also bland and everything was poorly presented. Worst meal we had in town.
We had dinner with parents on Memorial Day to celebrate my birthday. The food was wonderful (well, except for the broiled seafood platter which was beyond bland....I suggest they change this to sautéed or something else). We also were very pleased with our server, Abbie and the fact that we were seated very close to our reservation time. However, after we left my husband told me that the restrooms were positively disgusting. He described them as having a worse smell than the latrines in the back country at Rocky Mountain Nat... read more
