With the passage of a year since my horrific experience of leasing a Buick at this dealership, I am taking the time to remind customers to beware. Through either a horrible mistake (or worse), I was provided with a car that lacked the feature most important to me, one that I had made clear was essential for my needs. ***** was that upon returning to the dealership within hours of taking possession of the car, I was repeatedly lied to by ****************** and later, ************************ as to a possible resolution of the... read more

Business response:

we are very sorry to hear that ****************** is not happy with the purchase of his Buick. ****************** provided us with a copy of a window sticker and requested that we get him the exact car that the window sticker showed. We got him the exact car from another dealer and delivered to him. The car he wanted did not have adaptive cruise control (ACC). after ****************** picked up his car he came back and said that the car did not have ACC. We offered to get him another car with ACC but he did not want to pay t... read more

I brought my truck in to get a roof LEAK fixed. GM has an official bulletin about this issue on all truck models from 2019-2022, and ten's of thousands of customers have been affected by this factory defect. Both GMC and Chevrolet trucks were affected. They refuse to do a recall on it problem even though they are fully aware it is a mistake in design. Now, mind you once again, the Truck had a bad roof LEAK where a lot of water can get in and completely ruin the interior. My truck was left outside for an entire week while the... read more

My recent experience with NorthBay GMC has been nothing short of disappointing. The level of communication from this dealership is virtually non-existent, leaving clients in the dark and feeling utterly inconvenienced.I found that they have a blatant disregard for their clients' time. The process was drawn out with no apparent care for the inconvenience caused. It seemed as if they had no regard for the value of the client's time or the importance of efficient communication. If you're considering moving forward with a purchas... read more

If I could give a lower review, I would. I purchased a new Cadillac 7/10/23. It’s now 9/1 and it is still not registered. The registry has no record of the car, and my temp tags are expired. The sales manager, Michelle, who is extremely rude, advised me to drive it on expired tags, and that it is fine. My insurance will not cover me if the cars not registered, and if stopped, the car will be towed, impounded for 10-days, and I will be fined. I now have a car that I’ve owned for two months, that I can’t legally drive on the... read more

Leased a 2020 Buick Encore gx sport touring in May. Had car three days before it went in for service. Was in service more than two months before gm financial offers buyback. LEMON. going to be at least 120 days to receive state tax they didnt return. Still waiting for Northbay to refund my $500 for two year service warranty. Promised money by Monday four weeks ago. Still havent received. Spoke to salesman yesterday and now hes telling me to call dealer **********************. They tell me I have an active warranty and that I... read more

Business response:

We are sorry that you did not have a great experience with your Buick. The taxes are paid to the State and should be reimbursed by the State. The refund for the cancellation of service contract was mailed to the customer even though we have not received the funds from the warranty company yet.

I bought a car for North bay. I had big problem with the car and when I called them to get my car in for repair they refused to take it in. My car is sitting home and is dead. I bought 2020 Cadillac xt-6 and will never buy another car from them. They're service is the worse I ever experience.

Business response:

The vehicle was delivered in March 2020. On September 2020 the vehicle was brought in for an oil change and again in April 2021 for an oil change and wiper blade replacement. On July 7,2021 there was a roadside call made to Allstate Roadside and the vehicle was towed to a different dealership in Brooklyn. We value our customers and stand ready to address any issues they may have with their vehicle.

This dealership has the worst service manager and customer service manager in their service department ever! I bought four cars here over the last 20 years and I will never buy from them ever again because of their incompetence. The service manager is arrogant and vindictive. He lies to forward his narrative and has no desire to listen to reason and can not be trusted at any cost. Speaking of cost, I guess a $350 dollar scratch on a car is worth more to them than countless referrals and my own continued business. Stay away f... read more

My lease on a 2018 Escalade came due a few weeks ago. I planned to purchase the vehicle from North Bay since it had low mileage on it. I was also trading in a 2008 XLR, and the final bill was going to be around $36,000.00. I asked for wiring instructions to pay for this deal, and received instructions proporting to be from our salesperson. I had my business manager wire the money in accordance with these wiring instructions, only to find out, after investigation by our IT manager, that North Bay had been hacked, and that we ... read more

After thorough investigation, we determined that our email system was not hacked. We asked the customer to resolve this issue with their bank

I will only give one star since I can’t give a zero. Leased a 2020 xt6 cadillac from north bay Cadillac. Car was brand new according to sales. Week after I have the the car it went into service due to modual not working correctly so that means all electrical parts of the car were not working. My vehicle has now been in service 4 times since I leased it in July. Always the same problem electrical. They keep the car 2 weeks every time I bring it in. Constantly get the same answers that they can’t figure out what’s going on. I ... read more

Business response:

The electrical issue with the vehicle was repaired under warranty at no charge. The car was brought in with the damage as verified by our camera system but was repaired at no charge as a gesture of good will. The vehicle has been delivered to the customer.
