I hired Chris to inspect an elderly neighbor for me. It is for a home I am considering buying. It is not on the market. He, and his realtor wife, came LESS than 48 hours later to the old lady’s home to bring a client for his wife’s real estate company. I happened to be outside and saw him. We decided to pay extra and use Chris Cook as our inspector after he “hyped up” all of the warranties that comes with his work. When we moved to the house we quickly realized one of the hot water heaters did not work properly. The hot water came out dirty in to our down stairs bathtub. We called him to ask about it and we were told to file a claim AFTER we purchase a new hot water heater and have it installed, so we did. $1,000 later they will not honor their warranty even though we’re still in our 90 day time frame.
