Parking situation is awful. I pay $60/mo for parking and the system barely works. The gate almost never opens automatically for my car, even though my license plate is registered. Every single time I enter the garage I have to press the call button and wait for someone to answer, which creates a line of cars behind me and is extremely frustrating. It’s been six months since we moved out and my husband and I still talk about how happy we are not to live at N&L anymore. We had a lot of issues: thin walls, cabinets that easily fell apart, unstoppable mold in the showers, elevators down regularly, frequent fire alarms, and lots of extra fees on top of the base rent. But our main issue was sharing a wall with a five-story metal trash chute. When large objects were dropped in there, it shook the apartment and sounded like a bomb going off. It was torture. I had an earlier 5 star review but removed it it’s currently 1 am the fire alarm has been going for 1.5 hours and has gone off multiple times in a few short days. This has happened no less than 6 times in the last 2 years. The elevators are constantly down as well. Given the price you pay in rent this should not be happening and is a safety hazard. Do not live here at all costs UPDATE: It is now a week later and the alarm is going off again....
I’ve been here for about 4 months. My experience has been really great so far. The team is very responsive despite the alarms going off, management was very detailed and quick with the solution. For this building to have been built in 2019 it is well maintained. The parking change was stressful at first but i understand why that change was made and the parking team has been nothing but helpful.
After 3 years of living here, I am editing my original 5 star review to 3 stars. Positives: - The location is great. Being on the Beltline is hard to beat, and Old 4th Ward is a lovely area to live. Walking to everything is super convenient. - The units/appliances are updated/nice; random but the closets are very spacious - The building is clean & well maintained. - The maintenance team (Tim!) is fantastic.
