I got a new roof after hurricane Laura. First off the roofers only removed the shingles and was not going to remove the old felt layer. I had another contractor over at the house working at that time and he called me saying they were going to lay shingles over the old felt. I called and got them to stop and remove the old felt and put new down as agreed on in the contract. After that I had a leak issue on the carport side of my house.
