In 1965 a small hamburger stand opened for business at the intersection of Martin Way and Marvin Road. The stand was called Norm's. Norm's was famous for its burgers and fries, and was a popular stop for folks on their way to and from the city dump. Norm's closed in 1985, but the namesake would live on. In 1993 Phil and Norma Swenson built a hamburger stand at 7210 Martin Way, near the Tanglewild center in Lacey. Pete Van Lierop, a long time resident and friend, suggested that they name the business Norma's, since everyone r... read more

The worst I've eaten in years. I was looking for a gourmet burger and was told Normas probably had the best.To those of you who have helped foster that illusion, thanks for nothing. I guess if you're used to McDonald's, this place must seem like a rustic oasis. The burger and fries were the worst I've had in years. I will never go back. The price was outrageous for the equivalent of a cheap meal at a fast food chain.
Norma's Burgers is great Used have to go and get a hamburger, fries and a milkshake there. Mom thought it was the best. Nice place on a nice day
great burgers the burgers from here are great. I want to go back and try one of their more known burgers but had only tried a 'generic' burger. they also have a great variety of shakes to try...very good, family owned, cute place...

unhappy – Heard many things about Normas, most of them have always been good. I went to try it out a few weeks ago and people I did not like it. Server was good but the one thing I did not like was listening to a female in the back yelling. Ignored it as best as I could, ate my burger and still had room for more and decided to get a slice of pie. Love pumpkin pie this time of year, at least I did until that day! My slice a pie came out with a nice spot of mold! I have heard of adding alittle extra garnish but come on people ... read more
Cute – The building is shaped like a giant cheeseburger. It serves very good food for a good value. You'll overorder, don't even worry about it.
