The airport is amazing in itself..but it's Southwest that kinda sucked..on Friday my plan got cancelled to go to my connecting flight..well since it cancelled no one really knew..there was four plans cancelled..so I had to wait over six hours just to go to LAX just to wait four hours to finally get to Indiana.. got at SJO at 545AM didn't get to Indiana until 1245am.. but at least on the way home everything was on time to get to SJO on Monday. I wish Southwest at least would give us some kind of hook up like a free meal or fr... read more
RecommendedIt was my first time flying to and from San Jose. I found it very convenient the rental car building next to the airport.it took me no time to be out of the airport with the rental car. The restrooms are spacious enough to fit with your luggage. Maybe It was only me but passing through security it took me no time and all the staff at the airport were always friendly. I prefer this one over San Francisco airport.

RecommendedMy daughter has a disability and needs a wheelchair to get they the airport. At SFO, the wheelchair pushers are horrible--poorly trained, don't speak English and sometimes very rude. And you have to wait forever. Myesyerday at SJC, we had a lovely gentleman who was quite helpful and knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke good English. And we didn't have to wait more than a minute or two for him. Way to go SJC!
This is a very smooth airport to travel through. Very easy to get in and out. I love the rental car areas across the drive.
