Dr. Keith performed the sleeve on my husband's last January! His heaviest was 484 now my husband is 235 he's lost 246 pounds! It has changed my husband's life with out the surgery my husband probably wouldn't be here. Dr. Keith and his staff are a true Blessing and an Amazing support system. I had a sleeve gastrectomy done my Dr. Keith on 5/5/17. I started off at 420lbs the previous summer. Working with and following Dr. Keith and his staff's directions I lost about 50 lbs before surgery. Since surgery I am down to 225lbs. Not bad for a man standing at 6'1" tall. I also no longer take medications for diabetes (type 2) or high blood pressure. The surgery went well and I healed fast. Extremely long pre operation wait times! We were told to check in an hour and a half before my wife's scheduled time, no problem! We waited 30 mins to be taken back to be pre opted, no problem! 3 1/2 hours after the scheduled surgery time we asked what was going on. To which we were told he was running behind and it would be another hour, not cool! At the 5 hour mark the anesthesiologist came in, about time! 6 hours past the scheduled surgery time they take my wife back for what is supposed to be a 45-90 min surgery. 2 hours... read more
Went to appointments for over a year, since April 2016... was told that the gastric sleeve procedure was covered by my insurance, and after I've gone through all the hoops and Dr Keith has gotten almost 1000 dollars from me... I was told that magically united health care doesn't cover this surgery. Was told over 2 weeks ago I'd be getting a refund, I've yet to see anything... They want their payment right away, but when it.comes to refunding money they aren't quite as fast. Buyer beware!
