After my Hubby and I went there for our 40th Anniversary Sat eve, I remember why it had been 2 years since we had been there. It took 15 minutes to even have a Wait Staff come and ask us for our Drink order (Coffee and Iced Tea) 10 more for it to be delivered. Thank Goodness we had already given our Server our food order other wise we probably would still b sitting there. The Potato Soup was BLAH and the Cheese Bread we got for a appetizer.... Not very impressed. Potatoe skins were horrible “burnt and no toppings and the French dip was cold and tasted old.
the hostess was dumb as a post....she asked me myn 1st name ..i said i had a reservation at 5:30 for 5 under johnson.. she attempted to sit us at a booth for 4 and was upset that i complained and corrected her in front of people waiting in line that i made a reservation 2 days for johnson for 5 ......she couldn't comprehend and seat me at a table that i requested....get rid of the gray hair/blonde old lady....the servers and bushelp were fantastic...even if it wasn't ther table theygot things you requested.....great job
Great service! I had the regular burger, well done, it was beautiful on the outside, but quite pink on the inside! I let my server know and they made it perfect the second time. Delicious bread and butter served was yummy! Sweet potato fries tasted as if I had cooked them myself! Kids meal was served on an old school lunch tray!! Awesome prices too! Glad to have someplace nice to eat up here in Forest Lake :)
Shame on you! Be careful taking a bite from your husband's plate! They'll charge you a $4 surcharge and call it sharing a meal, even though I was having an appetizer! You can get better appetizers out of the freezer section at walmart. I'm guessing this will never be seen by the public on this site but people should know what they are getting. When trying to bring it up with the manager they didn't see any problems with the surcharge. SHAME ON YOU!
Always great food & great service! We always make a point to stop in when we are in the area!
