Just like the reviewer before this, we read the great reviews online and confidently chose Dr. Martinez as our PCP. But after a year of being with her, we're looking to change doctors. Dr. Martinez seems knowledgable in the field, but does not take time to answer patients questions, rushes appointments, and abruptly leaves the appts without notice. This just comes off very rude and unfriendly. The only reason I am giving her 2 stars instead of 1 is because her staff is very helpful and friendly.
This doctor might have been liked by others but not me. She is the most detestable doctor I have encountered. In Jan/2020 I had a sinus infections and brought it to her attention when I saw her in Feb/2020. Just as my previous experience with her, she just ignored me and continued updating my records in the computer. A couple of minutes later, she left which I thought she would be coming back. I made my appt online about one month prior. I later got an email asking for confirmation of my insurances. Three days prior to my appt I was emailed asking me to complete the patient paperwork in advance through the online portal, which I did. Then I show up for my appt and the front desk person tells me the doctor is not accepting new patients. I wasted a lot of time (online, leaving work early for appt.) The front desk staff acted like this was not a problem. Rude, inexcusable.
