Today I got on the phone to find a cardiologist appointment. I had terrible service at another office and decided to call Dr. Koury's team instead. I was greeted by Ken who had the most welcoming attitude. She immediately changed my morning and provided the exact support I was looking for. She was kind, professional, and extremely fast at getting me set up for my first appointment. Dr Khoury and her staff at the MUSC Vein Center provide excellent care for all patients. She is empathetic and caring; explains all procedures in advance; and provides thorough post op followup. I readily recommend Dr Khoury to other wound and vein procedure patients!
Dr Khoury is a good doctor but the staff at the office are terrible. They were supposed to set up a stress test and it never happened. When I went back for follow-up she wanted to know why I didn't get the test. The staff was supposed to call me back after this follow-up. Never happened. I moved my care to LMC. Think the world of my new doctor there, Dr Garrett Ruth.
My experience is Dr. Khoury she is not very passionate. I was accused of being a worrying person. She says that why I was having pain above the site where I had a heart catheterization recently. I am a Christian and I don't worry. I put my trust in the God that I serve. My blood work and CT scan without contrast didn't show any blood in my stomach. Years old at Baptist hospital I had exploratory surgery where Dr. Metropol found 2 liters blood in my stomach. The CT scan or Ultrasound sound that. I told her about that, she sai... read more
