Noriega Teriyaki House is a 3.5 star establishment. It's a steady performer - no wows, no disappointments. Their portions are generous, especially if you order one of their lunch/dinner platters that come with rice, salad, and miso soup. The sushi offers are varied and delicious. However, bang/buck ratio is much lower. Parking is plenty near NTH, especially at the top of the hill next to the reservoir.
Best Japanese in the Sunset Probably the best place for Japanese food in the Sunset area, Noriega Teriyaki House delivers great food at very reasonable prices, very generous portion sizes, and excellent service. One entree and one or two sushi rolls is more than enough to satisfy two people. Parking can be a challenge but not usually an issue most of the time.
Totally Worth Checking Out! This place is totally worth checking out, the service is amazing, especially the owner he is so nice and down to earth. If you crave sushi or any other Japanese food this is definitely you should check out. It's known for their homemade teriyaki sauce. My favorite is the tea.

They have a really good sashimi options including a combo for a single person, or party trays. They're very fresh, very nice looking, and taste great. They also have some really good rolls. Of course they're more "fusion" American style sushi rolls rather than traditional Japanese rolls, but actually traditional Japanese maki is pretty boring. I recommend the F... read more
