I (Rick)worked there from 1976 thru1990 with some of the best people I've ever known . I was in (07) pipe shop and worked my way up to Specialist, then Supervisor, and then Lead planer. Its all thanks to my Grandfather (John "Matey" Mustin )who worked there most of his life . Its the best memories of all my working life. Thank you to all who worked there, that made these memories.

Spent 23 years there. Wayne Gray at Brambleton Plant made life miserable. When old George Roper owned it, it was good but after that it was a living hell hole. Had lots of friends and excellents bosses. Got lots of experience and glad i left in 2001.

I worked at norshipco 1977 to 1995 and enjoy my job everyday it was something different I learned alot and met a lot of people if I could would have stayed even longer I was in 05 shop as well as bartoff we worked side by side good guy I will always think about the good times as well the bad times I even remember if you didn't make it to work we would go and get you that's how we thought of our fellow workers or friends in my case I will never forget them days at NORSHIPCO.

I worked in the 05 shop & it was the Greatest job I Ever had. So good was what I did, that I really can't call it a job. It Was my Life. I never had a job that I couldn't wait to get back to. The money was Great. The advances came quick, If, you showed up on time, every time & gave it all you had & listened & learned from the older guys. Which is what really made that job worth wanting to go back to, day after day, the people that worked alongside me & the bosses who watched over me.
