If I could do ZERO stars I would! Dr. Lauren Shouldis is completely dishonest and negligent!! I am Extremely disgusted and devastated with my experience . I underwent surgery in December 2023 believing the bone spur causing my symptoms would be removed. Despite 4 rounds of physical therapy and repeatedly reporting significant pain to her, I was continually reassured that my symptoms were part of the normal healing process. Apologies to Dr. Shouldis for a critical review I left last month. Her assessment and in office treatment of Mom's condition was pretty much the same as Sentara's, less the daily application of topical solution. Best regards. ~G

This is how I see it now. As with all of my opinions, they might change with time. I have mixed feelings about this visit. The office staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the person at the front desk. (We both look after our mothers) I brought my mother in because one of her toenails had become very thick and was causing her pain when walking. I had an mri showing torn Achilles tendon. Dr Williams said she’d get started on surgery plans that afternoon. This was May. I wasn’t to schedule any other appointments. We’d meet before surgery. She’d reach out. Hasn’t happened. Actually I believe Ive been forgotten. My tear is greater than 90%. I’ve had to quit my job. I couldn’t get a drs note and I can’t stand for a minimum of 5 hours. Don’t let this be your story. Find another Dr in Chesapeake Va.
