Some nurses were kind, others a bit more brusque. I had about 12+ in the short time I was there. It led to lots of whiplash and they said it was because they were short staffed. I didn’t feel supported and felt rushed into a c-section though baby wasn’t in distress. Had an absolutely awful recovery and couldn’t move normally until 6 months pp. Now I have increased risks for future pregnancies and it leads to a lot of anxiety. I didn’t advocate well enough for myself.

My experience here was amazing. This was by far the best experience of giving birth. The staff here listen to what I wanted and was very helpful.

Birthing center team is INCREDIBLE. My wife and I are blown away after having both our babies here. They're so consistently caring, kind and fun. We were so comfortable and are grateful for this amazing team.

El mejor hospital que he ido en mi vida! No tengo palabras para expresar lo agradecida que estoy por todo el equipo médico. Las enfermeras me trataron como una reina, siempre estuvieron al pendiente de mi y de mi familia. Tuve una emergencia, una avulsion de útero, podiamos haber tenido una tragedia mi bebé y yo, pero ellos supieron manejar la emergencia, su trabajo en equipo permitió que hoy pudiese gozar de mi bebé. Had an amazing experience with my wife, Staff was kind, considerate and veterans at their field, I cannot say enough positive, was here for 6 day for my wife to recover, would not go anywhere else to birth a child. Thankyou Newport Birthing center!
