I called late morning, when certainly the restaurant wasn't open, to leave a message with a huge request for several pieces of their AWESOME gluten free chocolate cake. Much to my surprise, the owner answered, was to fulfill my last minute request by placing a special order, and texted me when the cake was ready for pickup. Thank you, Jen, for making my husband's birthday a delicious success.
I have been there a few times and it was fine, but last week I went there with a friend and the service was terrible, it took 25 mins to get a drink, the waitress brought my salad half way through dinner..and they overcharged my friends debit card.. She called twice, no response she went there, no manager around.. The manager was supposed to call her.. No call.. So the bank is dealing with it.. BEWARE!!!!!! Went a week ago Thursday they posted fraudulent charges on my debit account, I have to close my account and get a new one. I had left the waitress a cash tip but a tip was added to my debit account. Called twice no response, went in there, the waitress said she knows I gave her a cash tip she said it would be resolved but the owner is very busy. Noras food is great, atmosphere a day service is the best...
I never leave bad reviews but I am so disappointed I need to let people know. My dad was visiting from Florida and I had heard good things about Nora's. We went there for dinner tonight. We waited for over an hour for our food to be served (the place was dead) and then were given disappointing dishes of food. I was supposed to have herb risotto, my dad was supposed to have caramelized onion risotto and we were both given the same risotto which wasn't even good. Nora's is our go to place when we want great food and atmosphere. No place like it in Southwick. Love Nora's!!!
