I just thought this was going to be too upscale and pretentious. Wrong- dead wrong. If anything is evident is the pride from the staff about the great food they serve. FRESH seafood- good cocktails and smack in the middle of downtown Duluth. This is exactly what the area needs. The vibe is laid back southern Korean. Trust me- it works.
Absolutely loved our dinner at Noona! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared. The braised short rib was the highlight — incredibly tender and literally melted in my mouth. The oysters, steak, pasta, and sides were all excellent as well. Our bartender was also super friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Enjoying the oyster, tap water, beer, then ordered the short rib dinner, tasty, green beans nearly raw, square potato seemed grilled just on the bottom, the portion was huge, hard to manage how to begin to cut it, once requested steak knife, came easier to determine through the braised meat, was slowly pulled away heavy fat areas, gave up enjoying, asked to bring it home, which next time order scallops
First time here, was pleasantly surprised. Joseph(bartender) made our great drinks and served us at the bar. The shortrib was massive and so well prepared. Highly recommend this establishment.
Went here for my birthday because of the mermaid on the logo, and omg everything was sooooo delicious!! The garlic mushroom cream crostini is a must try if you love mushrooms, that was my favorite appetizer. The kimchi cornbread was super unique, a bit spicy for me but good flavor. My husband had some St. George Island oysters which were super thick and meaty.
