I have now had three alterations done by Nonpareil Studio. I am extremely satisfied with the work that has been done. They are very honest, courteous, and the work is always done on time..HIGHLY recommend Nonpareil Studio, they are a pleasure to do business with..

I bought a dress that was about 5 inches too long for me so I brought it into Nonpareil to get it hemmed. I was in there no longer than ten minutes and I returned in less than a week to pick it up. It was $18 (I don't know if that is pricey or not), but I was very pleased with the job that she did! She had to cut the fabric to hem it but the end product was better than new -- it actually fits me now. Michelle seems like a very modest and classy lady. I would definitely recommend Nonpareil

Nonpareil Studio is a terrific resource in our Ann Arbor community. Michelle Moenssen tailored my Lea-Ann Belter wedding gown that I had purchased at The Gown Shop. There was quite a bit of work to be done as I had lost weight after I had ordered the dress. She also worked with me to design straps for the gown and made a shawl. She was very accommodating. I attended Nonpareil because my very good friend was getting her dress altered there and felt Michelle was not listening to what she wanted. When I tried to help, I found her down right bullying. It was clear she did not want to do the work and instead of saying so, she attacked my friend's wants for her dress. Her words were derogatory and aggressive. She physically glared at me when I opted for a compromise of events - asking "if I wanted to do the work?" and then came after me verbally. I do not recommend this place.
