I lived in Hawaii as a child and Pho was my absolute favorite thing in the world. I've been in Michigan for over 13 years and had a difficult time finding Pho that was any good. Nonla's has finally given me a place to get excellent pho. It was amazing, fresh, and light tasting. Definitely a keeper!!
There food is awesome! I am never disappointed on several visits to this little gem, hidden in old downtown Mattawan.
Finally! A Vietnamese place to eat in the Kalamazoo area! Everything is from scratch and made with attention to detail. I had the fish sauce chicken wings (super crispy and delicious), parmesan truffle fries and Vietnamese coffee. My wife had the braised chicken ginger in clay pot. All was really good. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Makes Chinn Chinn seem kind of mediocre. Nice work guys!
Wow. This place is amazing. I've never had Vietnamese food this good outside of the West coast. And it even beats most of those restaurants. Add to the amazing food an eclectic vibe with led Zeppelin on vinyl serenading a small, busy crowd, and you have one fun evening. The place is cozy, so we make new friends every time we go as we bond over the great eats.
we came to this place because it was closer than the places that we had in mind to go to. It is now certainly first choice over the other places!
