Awful in every way
Does not answer the phone or even allow the answering to pickup even when the message says leave your info at the beep for medication refills and just plays music until you get mad and hang up. My family members life is in the care of this Dr that does not care about anything.
Doc is the most knowledgeable, smartest person and doctor I know. His staff is also awesome.
Kind concern and a willingness to listen are only a few of her good qualities, Im 83, she is my all time super doctor.
Seen this dr for a thyroid nodule on my right side, he told me I had nodules on both sides and wanted to remove my entire thyroid 'no big deal, just a thyroid pill rest of life'....whole appointment seemed fishy as I had already had many confirmations on one nodule.....decided not to do the surgery with him, went to OSU and they removed one side, other side was completely normal. Two years later I am not on any medication because the one side is working well enough!
When I go to a doctor, I want someone who is gonna fix my problem. I want Dr. Murcek. I don’t need someone who is gonna sugar coat my situation or hold my hand and blow sunshine in places it shouldn’t be. Dr. Murcek explained my condition to me quite clearly. He even told me “you’re gonna hate me but then you are gonna love me”. He was so right! I hated the procedure and the recovery but I loved the final product. He did what had to be done. My husband is being treated for food poisoning. She comes to see him at 8pm last night and said once he gets his appetite back he can be discharged. He got his appetite back next morning and we are still waiting almost 24 hours for him to be discharged. He can sit around and relax at home where it’s FREE! No doctor has seen him all day. We even had the nurse message the doctor this morning saying he’s ready to be discharged. The hospital bed can be used for someone who needs it.
Dr. Desalvo has ZERO compassion. He is snide and egotistical. I’ve never met a doctor with worse bedside manner. I’ve never been treated so poorly in the health care system besides by this man. Doctors like him should not be in business. He is the WORST OB i have ever experienced. If i could say rude 1,000 times i would. DO NOT GO TO HIM!
My husband and I we’re scared young couple starting a family,. Dr DeSalvo help bring both my girls into this world. I am so grateful for him. I had complications with both my pregnancies. He was amazing both times now 24 years later he is helping bring my grandchild into this world. I am so grateful for Dr. DeSalvo always been professional kind. Make sure to answer any questions I have I would recommend him over and over again. PS love the office staff.
