I love the beach lifestyle, SoCal vibe of Nomads. Each room is unique and has a natural green feel. All the comforts of other hotels with an authentic vibe that could only come out of Southern California. Sean, one of the owners, is a solid dude who takes care of all of your needs. He even has surfboards you can rent right on property. A bonus is that there is a genuine surf restaurant that is like the Bird Shed in Leucadia but with yummy food and lots of adult beverages.

Nomads was recommended by a friend a few weeks ago and it has fast become one of my favourite 'patios.' Everything we've had to eat has been excellent - yesterday I had the scallops over chopped lettuce with a mango salsa - delicious for a late lunch. Draft beer selection is good and they pour the Guinness right. Staff are friendly and don't be shy to ask them about the menu - they've given us good suggestions every time! Will be back soon!

Nomads Canteen is an amazing place. 32 cold beers for you to choose. it is the best restaurant in San Clemente. Last November I staid at Nomads Hotel that is in the same house. I had a great time there. Regards from Brasil to Sean and everybody from Nomads.
It might be hard to find because it isn't on the main street, but it is totally worth the effort to go here. The decor is super fun and makes you really feel like you're getting all that San Clemente has to offer as a sleepy surf town. The staff is always super happy and helpful and the food is fun. The eclectic menu is always filling and tastes great and the beer selection is always interesting
