I purchased a Nomadic Innovations unit for approximately $3,400. Unfortunately, my experience with both the product and the company has been extremely disappointing. The unit arrived damaged 13 months ago, and I contacted Nomadic immediately to report the issue. Rather than addressing my concerns, I was told that I had damaged the unit myself, which was not the case. They refused to take responsibility or provide a reasonable solution. I replaced a Nomadic X2 with the X3 Helix in our Rossmonster Baja Trail to get better cooling capacity and the ability to create programs to more efficiently use AC while our pets were in the rig. After receiving an initial unit that would not cool at all, And SLOWLY working with customer support troubleshooting, a month later I got a replacement X3. This unit cools, but none of the programming works and even the basic AC doesn't function correctly. On Eco or Auto when it reaches the set temperature it just keeps on cooling.... read more

I don't write many reviews, but from time to time I experience exceptional customer service, something I value highly given my background attempting to do the same. I own a Nomadic X3 12v Plus AC unit. Unfortunately, on one of our adventures either the rough roads or a tree branch knocked the fitting on the condenser loose and emptied the refrigerant.
