My experience in June 2024: Unexpected electricity outage happened the arrival night. My family (including 60+ senior and 20 months old baby) had to check in a hotel nearby at 11:30pm. Then it was sad/funny to watch Nomad team start the drama of 'debating and kicking balls': they are not willing to reimburse me for the hotel cost (not even mentioning the mess they made and disturbing my plan moving). Things started off well, the unit they placed us at in SLC was very clean, modern, and well equipped. However, the facility management did an inspection after we were there only a few days and we pointed out a few maintenance issues (including all fluorescent lights in garage burned out), and nothing was maintained over 4 weeks. Nomad also charged an excessive fee of $500 for me to keep my 2 small, old oodle dogs with me. They don’t shed and don’t destroy anything and weigh around 20 lbs only. Initial review: I just got to temp housing a week ago. My wife and I have attempted to reach out to our specific agent to better understand the new complex, get keys, and inquire about other things that will help our move across the country that relates to the apt complex. I’ve been able to get in touch with the main number but they continue to insist that I wait for my agent, which I’ve done via email AND phone.
