Alan is the MAN when it comes to the SXV plus he is a great guy. Very fair and does outstanding work. Rebuilt my SXV motor 4000 miles ago and zero problems.
NTW is the best! Allen did my first rebuild (SXV550 #3538), followed by 2 other rebuilds on other bikes. I recommend him to everyone!
I've had my 2007 SXV 5.5 back from Allens shop for a few months now. I had an orange sealant motor with a few extra problems from the previous owner. I brought it to Allen, he did the rebuild on the motor and replace the usual problem parts plus went through my bike front to back. He even took the time to replace nuts and bolts that were not correct from the factory and all sorts of dumb things and worked within my budget. Absolutely no problem's since. Allen performed a valve adjustment on my sxv 550. He was able to work with my schedule and allowed me to hang around the shop while he worked on the bike. It was a single day trip about 4 hours from my house each way so it worked out perfect! I have the arrow under seat exhaust and aprilia blue filter that had an ok tune but wasn't clean. Allen was able to load his custom map on it and the power is linear through the entire rev. The engine and tune is well worth the trip!!!
