Impressive selection of teas and coffee, ambitious menu, pretty standard sammys. Please change the Muzak. It really set a sad boring palate for lunch. Play some Mardi Gras music NOLA bean! Or how about WWOZ. And dim the recessed lighting a bit. It will help warm the atmosphere.
I had the Caesar wrap on a spinach tortilla, with avocado and mushrooms instead of chicken. The service was lovely and they recommended a slice of king cake for dessert, which I’m considering trying given the high-quality of the food. Also had easily the best chai latte I’ve had in all of my travels. I ordered mine hot with oat milk, but I can imagine it’s just as delicious iced.
