Dr. Okamura paid a great deal of attention to medical history, symptoms, reason for my visit. I felt very comfortable that she listened and provided sound options going forward. I trust her with my care.
This doctor was my primary doctor. I went to visit this doctor twice. My visit with this doctor on August 12th at 1345, was the worst appointment that I've had in my life. I made this appointment after suffering for over 2 months in pain. Pain was so bad that ibuprofen was not working. Avoid!! Trying to get this doctor to refill prescriptions, have the office return a phone call or fill out a form is like pulling teeth. Whatever the bare minimum is, they act like it is above their scope. The office does not even know what insurance they accept and will GLADLY tell you they take your insurance before the appointment, let you PROCEED with seeing the doctor, and then inform you they don’t take your insurance. Do not understand all the hate and bad reviews, my guess is that entitled people do not get what they want/demand so they go online and bully because thats how they can control the narrative. My experience with Dr Okamura has been exceptional. She is always professional and kind. She cares about the underlying condition and not only addresses one's symptoms. I recommend her to all my friends and family.
Dr Okamura is an exceptional physician. I am an eldercare practitioner in Olympia who has had positive experiences both with my personal care and for my patients. She is timely, responsive, kind, empathetic and listens carefully in appointments. Her office is responsive and she has met my care needs every visit. She has been a strong support for my patients u dergoing surgery as their PCP. Wonderful physician, highly recommended.
