My therapist on this app was absolutely amazing and very understanding. I truly appreciated the support I received from her. However, the billing process is extremely frustrating. The payment plan is expensive, and instead of consistent charges, I was hit with a large bill that I’m now expected to pay all at once in order to continue therapy. They constantly text and call. Early in the morning, consecutive days on end, they do not accept major insurance companies, require multiple appointments a week, (which should be up to the patient) and then ask for payments every week, push to set up payment plans, and charge ridiculous cancellation fees. Seems like nothing but a scam. I will be letting referring clinic know.
If you’re like me, OCD has been present in your life since before adolescence. Also like me, you might have tried lots of different treatments, some with medication and some without, yet nothing seemed to work. NOCD’s treatment approach (ERP) has worked the best so far. I agree with a lot of the other reviews they only care about money and they will lie to you telling you it a cover by your insurance and then right before your before appointment tell you sorry it's not and 240 dollars for session h The Therapist is only getting 60 -80 is sticking Am but they care about Their patients But NOCD only care about its PROFIT
My first intake session was 2/16 and I wanted to wait to see what my portion of the bill would be before scheduling again, so I paused service for six weeks. I reached out to the Member Service center yesterday to find out that my In-network insurance is delayed. How convenient. I refuse to schedule sessions with surprise payment amounts. My suggestion is to run as far as you can until they get an operational billing department who knows what they are doing.
