I went to Nobu for dinner before the Candlelight ABBA show at the Eden Roc Hotel and it was a huge disappointment. The food was extremely average, borderline tasteless, with ridiculously small portions at absurd prices. Paying $27 for a miniature lamb chop is hard to defend. I’ve been to plenty of fine-dining restaurants around the world, so small plates don’t bother me — but this wasn’t refinement, it was plain robbery. My company reserved the entire restaurant on the last night of our offsite. I was really unsure of whether I'd be able to eat anything, as I have a severe fish & seafood allergy. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the waitstaff and kitchen and their willingness and ability to accommodate me. I was delighted to feel completely cared for during my experience. The food was extremely flavorful and elevated, and the staff were all world class.

This review is specifically for our server, Maria. It was 3 of my girlfriends and I. We were a mix of new and returning guests, and also a hesitant sushi eater (me!) Maria was reserved, but elegant and most of all professional in her recommendations and exquisite in her service. We were sort of a lost case on what to order and she literally fed us all night.
