We celebrated our anniversary here on a Sunday night. The main dining room was pretty loud despite, but we were tucked away into a corner booth in the bar that was perfect for us. I experienced bad service. It’s very unprofessional when the server decides to leave her shift early and introduce us to a new server. Our entrees didn’t come out together. They came out 10 mins apart. I left my glasses after we left and the restaurant can’t find them, no one turned them in. I was very disappointed because I usually come here with a group of elite film industry people.
Nobu is a classic and elevated sushi place. It's sleek and cool in decor. We had a chance to stop in and have a date night while our kids were out. We sat at the bar, which is something we live to do when we go out. The bartender was not very friendly or at attentive, which really makes a difference for those of us who choose to sit at the bar for meals. We like the interaction and the quicker service. I have been to Nobu in NYC, Miami, Malibu, Dallas, and now Atlanta. My experience in Atlanta, was terrible. To help you make a decision let me explain how the evening went. 1) I get a call from Nobu prior to my visit, they said, "Happy Birthday, your dinner is at 6:45, but the table is reserved again at 8:45, do you think you will be finished by that time? --- My reply, I'm bringing my wife and 2 kids, we should be done by then unless it goes slow..
